Do you want or need new Floor Covering? We recently worked on this floor.
The floor covering in this room had been carpet over a wooden subfloor that had been installed on a concrete floor.
The adjacent utility room had a leaking washer hose that slowly drenched the carpet and the wooden sub floor.
All of the floor covering was mildewed and stained beyond help. They both were discolored and rotten with dark stains. It was an unsightly mess!
We pulled up the covering and we proceeded to make things right. We scraped up the blackened wood sub floor and scraped the floors and prepped the uneven areas.
The client had to decide on what floor covering was the best choice.
Possibilities were considered. Carpet for comfort and insulation from the hard concrete sub floor. Solid vinyl for durability and quiet?
Ceramic for lasting durability and wearability for years to come?
The room was to be an office where quiet contemplation was a must. The room existed to the out of doors and had large windows for bright light from the west.
The decision was made.
Ceramic for the long lasting floor covering that would not be armed by future possible accidents.
A Floor Covering Color
We decided upon the color and we got back to work and made this fading room come back to life with new fresh floor covering!
